A few research sketches. Practiiiiice~
OH MAN so exhausted from ECCC, but I had an amazing time. Loved getting to chat with everyone who stopped by the booth, y’all were so goddamn nice! I will be blushing for the next week.
Here’s a quick sample of some of my con sketches from this year- I was actually doing so much talking that I couldn’t take on as many as I would have liked, but I had a blast doing them. Am now considering giving a discount to anyoe who asks me to draw a “crusty old knight” because damn that was fun
Man, if I could sketch such quality drawings to fans in conventions… still have much to learn!
Some of my con sketches from Jet City! Apparently my thing right now is drawing creepy eyes with tiny pupils? I’m gonna stick with it.
Deliriuuuuuum<3 Also, fantabulous sketches<3
We’ve got our first two prints up! They come in two different flavors, Blaster Nation and Rock Cocks. Scroll down to the blog to see! Next up, we’ll be doing prints of just stuff we like!
Also, have some sketches Leslie made when she was doing the Go Get a Roomie guest strip! Also these sketches are totally not safe for work and includes naked girls and a single instance of a flaming dick
YES. They look great in your style, Leslie!
For theoeuvre http://theoeuvre.tumblr.com/, who bribed me with beer to draw bears.
(you don’t need to bribe me, ha ha! I needed the sketch break)
Well dayum, if I knew theoeuvre could bribe rufftoon with beer… well… I couldn’t do much about it. Just cheer them on!!
Watching the first two episodes of The Legend of Korra has gotten me all excited about the Avatar series again. I love how the characters move when bending. Inspired, I did a couple sketches of my own.
Woow wooow stupid talented illustrator right here! Check out their other sketches, lots of delicious graphite workkkkk unf.
As of March 23, 2012, Disney Legend Glen Keane has left the Walt Disney animation studios. Glen served as a mentor to several Disney artists and a hero to those aspiring to work for the company. This post is in honor of his outstanding work in animation, his ability to breathe life into that which was once without and his dedication to the Walt Disney company.
Go forth and conquer, Glen. Or y’know, kick back and take a break. Do whatever the fuck you wanna do because you earned it.
Reblogging this forever. Those liiiinesssss!!
A collection of character sketches from a production meeting - including Korra and a shot of her father.
Yamino gave me some very helpful crit and some truths: i need to get out of my comfort zone!
those last sketches were incredibly lazy (i will make an excuse… i was talking on the phone with my mom and am nursing a hangover), but that doesn’t excuse bad sketches!!!
so i took yamino’s advice and brushed up on my muscle anatomy. korra is muscular!!! if i wanna draw copious amounts of fanart, i’m gonna have to work hard to make her look that way. :D hopefully these are a bit better. thanks, yamino! she’s a great friend.
Yessss yesss!! Check out dose shoulders! Molto bene!
Emmy I think we should collab on some Korra fanart thing, I don’t even know how, but it should be a thing that happens!
Whoo! These look great!
-no arms, no gender, no name
-cannot speak, but thinks so loud that everyone hears it (whether they want to or not)
-thinks of itself as the only beautiful thing alive
-everything it does, it considers fabulous. Even sitting down.
-has no interest in anyone but itself. the whole world could die, it wouldn’t even notice.
-never sleeps, never dies, never closes its pretty eyes.
-looks up to the sky often, whether it’s waiting for something, or seeing something no one else sees
