All credit for the characters goes to the wonderful Batlesbo / Chloe C., and her ever-fantastic webcomic Go Get a Roomie. Check it out the art, writing, and artist are beautiful <3 this is in no way canon to GGAR, just a little piece I imagine taking place sometime into LT’s and Roomie’s blossoming companionship.
This is part of my desire to start posting more of my little writing pieces online - hope you like it, let me know what you think, and if you have ideas/requests for other things! (whoever ‘you’ are~)

Strange Companion
———
Lillian closed her eyes and cut off the reality she found to be akin to a light source.
The visible world threw off a blinding monotony and reasoning that shadowed a place closer to her, one constructed of the hardest of thoughts and the strongest of fantasies.
There, she was home.
Along crept a desire, and a skittish hope fled to deeper caves.
This place was where trees towered low and pebbles laid like giants; a breeze wove its way through branches heavy with idle thoughts, and the leaves rustled in wonder.
In the near distance, a thud was heard. Many light and varied footsteps spread in a shockwave, as the forest’s creatures found other hiding spots.
She twisted; carressed a nearby peach. It was large and ripe and full of sweet nothings, causing the bough to bow lower. The rocks rumbled a baritone greeting, and she smiled as the suns on the horizon threw rays of warmth across her. The ground hummed contentedly, soaking up the light, and she meandered forth.
The young woman heard the call of the waterfall, and a shy rainbow was coaxed forth nearby. She laughed freely and openly then, unrestrained as she never was in the other world. A dance was begun, and her partner was the size of the heavens themselves; but that was not a problem for the girl in her land of dreams. Her next dance was with a being who was impossible to comprehend - an ethereal being spied only at the corner of vision, Lillian did not mind as she had long closed her eyes in delight and peace. The being spun her away and faded from sight with what might have been a nod; she danced alone then.
She was all curves and lithe beauty.
She moved to a tune struck up by the curtain of water nearby and the vibrations of the silver-spun spider webs in the treetops below her feet.
She spun then to the water fall, curving around the falling waterdroplets and stepping amongst the ripples of the pool below.
She danced a simple style so fitting of the lightness of her heart, and so matching the stunning image she showed to any who spied her.
At last the beauty fell into the warm embrace of the shimmering depths below, losing herself in the power of the sensation of drowning - though here, in her realms, she was in no danger. The water revitalized her, and she rested in its peaceful nature, feeling a surging strength welling up; she could become a whirlpool, a tidal wave, a waterfall, she could do anything and be stopped by no one with the encouraging and empowering force behind her back.
Her eyes were closed and she smiled, feeling the warmth and positive energy behind her - her lids lifted and she saw a bedroom, her bedroom, sunlight peeking through the slats of her blinds, her hair flowing over the sheets she was tangled in. And she spied an arm… an arm draped across her waist. Her eyes followed the line of the arm with suspicious eyes, her gaze then meeting the sight of a completely naked woman, unkempt blonde hair tied behind her, her form tracing the curves of Lillian’s own.
Lillian sighed.
The blonde woman’s eyes popped open, and a greeting graced her smiling lips. The brunette buried her face in her pillow at that, and her strange companion laughed and teased and heckled her a little, wanting to check up on her favorite pub. Lillian buried her head deeper, determined to rid her cheeks of an uninvited color before answering Roomie.
